Quarry Quest - Liam on Crane

First Swimming Lessons

Very proud of both my boys. We had our first swimming lessons on Thursday night and they both did very well. Evan's lesson was first. He was scared at first but Liam helped him relax and the second half of the lesson went well.

Liam's lesson was next. He jumped right in the water with his float belt on (even though he was a little scared) and practiced swimming on his front and back. Evan was very patient whle Liam had his lesson.

Afterwards we showered off in the locker room. Liam decided he likes taking showers - but only at the y... Progress!!!

Weekend Fun!

We met Ama and Papa at the zoo for Family Farm Day and had fun exploring and looking at animals!  Liam and I got to sleep in the tent for a little campout after a fire and smores!  Liam did very well... asleep by 10 and up at 5!  The boys had a lot of fun playing in the 'bear cave' sunday... they just love each other so much!

A little 4K celebration

We celebrated Liam's first day of 4K with the meal of his choice... pizza and cupcakes (with some fruit and veggies thrown in for good measure!)

First Day of 4K!

I'm still not quite sure how this happened... my little boy is now in 4K.  Liam got on the bus Friday afternoon... and by got on the bus, he jumped right on... didn't look back.  He sat right behind the driver and LOVED the ride to school.  I did also jump into the car and stalk all the school buses at Willow Springs to at least get a shot of him getting off (I will try for some getting on next week!).

Liam had a great first day with Mrs. H.  Today was his first full day at YCare and 4K.  He did well and enjoyed himself.  He is still getting to know the kids, but only has positive things to say thus far!  I am amazed that my timid, somewhat shy boy is jumping into this new experience.  It just shows how much he has matured this summer.  We are so proud of him and I am sure my tears will stop coming soon... I just can't get over just how big my boy actually is...
