Riding, eating, drinking cocoa

Polar Express!!

12/12

Since we had to cancel our green bay Polar Express, we decided to try out the Middleton Polar Express with the whole family! What fun!

The boys, especially Liam, were at the exact perfect age for this! I will treasure those memories for the rest of my life!!

Decorating

We added a train. The boys were very happy. Between the snowman head and the train... Oh boy did I have to be an adult this year :)

Celebrating Grandpa's birthday!

12/10

It was Papa's actual birthday (did we get any pics?!?... I have no idea), which we celebrated the previous weekend at Ama and Papa's house with a lovely meal and dessert(yum!), but we were celebrating Grandpa's birthday a bit early! Grandma and grandpa were babysitting while I worked Friday, but again got to share a meal and more cake (yum again!).

Happy Birthday Papa and Grandpa!

Evan's Turtle Class!

12/7

Jon got to take Evan to Turtle Class!

Zoo Class!

12/7

One of Liam's last zoo classes with an adult
:(

Reindeer and santa was there!

Finding our tree

12/6

Had to completely turn over the tree finding to Liam this year!

Single Parent Driving

This is what the front seat looks like when the boys and I drive 6+ hours in one day :)

Daddy can't play, but we will find some fun things!

11/29

Home at Last!

Got home and had to play a few minutes with our homemade airplane. Didn't they look handsome ;)

Thanksgiving!

11/25

We had yet another wonderful Thanksgiving with Mary and Clancy. Wonderful food, great company, treasured memories!

Did have a few hiccups! Jon was sick, his back began to act up and ended up immobile and needing a ride home from Andrew and Sam!

Had to cancel Polar Express to attend a memorial service for my grandpa in Adams. I ended up being sick as well, the boys were one three days of less sleep and close to losing it and I was a single parent driving across the state. So, we made it and spent some time with all the family in Adams and the kept driving to get the boys home, mommy home in bed and home to take care of jon. It would take a week more before he was ready to resume normal activity again :/

Cupcakes!

Mom and I stopped at a Super Target - pretty exciting! Brought home monster cupcakes for the boys!

Trainfest!

11/14

Another Trainfest under our belts! This year Liam was able to become an official Junior Engineer, which was a very exciting thing for him! He had to learn different train items and control multiple layouts! He was in heaven!

Catching up...

Oh boy has it been a long, hard, busy month! A lot of events happened... Trying to catch up!

Mid November meant saying goodbye to my Grandpa Pete. It is very hard to let someone go, but knowing he is at peace everyday does add some comfort. Mom and I drove friday night up to Birchwood to attend the memorial service saturday morning. It was very comforting to see everyone.

11/14 - out to breakfast before trainfest... Note the train shirts.
