Three months old!

Three months today! Time just flies!

It has been a long week here for us. I am pretty sure Liam had his three month growth spurt. For almost a week all he wanted to do was sleep, eat and cry. Of course sleeping was not easy, nor long (sleeping through the night a distant memory!). But, he seems to be back to his old self now, which mommy is excited about! He is doing very well otherwise!

I did discover that I can eat "hidden dairy" (the sneaky 'milk-products' in almost all packaged food), but Liam is not loving milk or cheese when I eat it. So, back to a mostly dairy-free diet and we will try to see if he can tolerate more dairy in a couple weeks!

Liam's 12 Weeks Old Today

We got up and spent the day at Roxanne and David's house.  Soaked up some sun on their porch, had a nice lunch, and the grandparents got plenty of Liam play time in.

Liam had his first real laugh today - Twice!

Liam's First Climbing Trip

Kaycee and Liam paid me a surprise visit out at Devil's Lake today while I was climbing.  Kudos to Kaycee for the free-solo of the CCC trail with a Liam strapped to her chest and a backpack on her back!

Mother's Day

Had a wonderful mother's day today. We lounged and snuggled and did some shopping. Liam (with a little of daddy's help :) ) gave me a wonderful necklace with his birthstone in it, so that I can have him with me wherever I go. Very sweet!

Kaycee has developed quite the ingenious system for getting Liam to sleep in his crib - unfortunately, rolled up blankets and a tight swaddle are still no match for a bouncy.

I had to cut Liam's nails today with clippers! All went well...thank you Quinn girls for all the practice!

Weeks worth of updates

Well... we had our OT eval this morning. All in all, Liam is doing well... have approximately 14 - 17 Degree tilt to his head, which is not that terrible. No major changes to his skull yet, which is also good. So, we have stretching excercises to complete several times a day and some other things to work on. We check back in with the OT in two weeks.

Sleeping has continued to be an adventure. Liam definitely likes his bouncer! He may grow up to only sleep in a papason chair... but, hey that is cheaper than a mattress! Liam has been going to sleep every night in his crib and then waking up 45 - 60 minutes later, crying and will only go back into a deep sleep when he is put in his bouncer. So, we continue on, hoping that eventually he will decide he will tolerate his crib. We have set up a series of contraptions in his crib to help him feel more 'cozy'... so far none have seemed to be to his liking!

Other than that, we have been going for lots of walks in this nice weather and enjoying our days.
