Liam playing with some new friends at a BBQ this evening

Get Down!

Liam and Kaycee are watching gymnastics. Liam keeps yelling at them to get down!

Daddy time!

We all took a bike ride to the post office, park, and library this morning! Now Liam is relaxing with daddy, reading his new library books!

The glamorous job of mom

Gluing cow watering can ears back on and constructing a vice out of tape... Going to update my resume with that one...

Proud Moment :)

While at the "jungle park" this morning, a boy was kicking the bear in the cave. A lot. Liam went right up to that boy and said "no kicking bear". My shy guy got over his fear to come to the aid of the bear... Later he gave the bear a kiss to feel better!

Cool Park!

We were in tosa this morning for music class, so we decided to check out Hart Park, which Liam saw a few weeks ago and just called "cool park!"

This park is now affectionately named "jungle park" by Liam. This park is wonderful! There are all sorts of concrete natural rock forms and trees to climb on. Their main structure is huge and has lots of slides that Liam tried out! There is an art installment that liam liked and a splash pad to try out later (too cold today!)

Liam liked the cave with the bear, owl and raccoon best!

Music Class!

Liam loved it... Loved it!

Lisbon Park

One of our bucket list items this summer (see left) is to play in the park!

Liam and I headed off to Lisbon Community Park on friday to play after we went to the library to load up on farm books!

This park is 10 minutes from our house and is surrounded by prairie... I personally love it! Liam had fun, although he was pretty tired, so we only stayed for a short time!

Strawberry Fest :)

Jon, Liam, Andrew and I all got to go to Strawberry Fest in Cedarburg on saturday... It was very crowded, but we had fun! Ate some good food, pet a cow, saw some ducks swimming in the river... Good times! Liam loved having his uncle there!

BIKE RIDE!

Went for Liam's first bike ride in his trailer today! Liam LOVED it! Went to the park on our first ride and then during dinner Liam demanded ("right now") we go for another ride! He wasn't even to stinky face about the helmet! Love that kid!

Having fun at home!

There are a million things to do around the house. Always. To add to that I have made a laundry list of items to do around the house that seems to be growing rather than shrinking... Why is it that projects always take twice as long as a person thinks they will?

In amongst all of that I am trying to remember to take time each day to relax, enjoy whatever it is that Liam wants to do and create moments of hysterical giggles or "uuww" as we get from Liam all the time lately.

Here are a few from last week that we took time for and I gad a camera handy ;)

Park!

Played at the park a bit before our dinner on sunday... Rode our bikes there! Liam played on everything... He even went down the big, covered, twirly slide... By himself!
Quick cooking tip from our favorite toddler foodie: use some ranch dip to spice up your pineapple.

Brunch!

We had Jon's parents and my parents up for an early Father's Day celebration last Saturday.  We made a ridiculous amount of brunch items and all over indulged!  We had baked french toast, crepes with a variety of fillings, homemade strawberry syrup and whipped cream and a waffle station.  Not to mention the desserts that both moms brought and we didn't get to eat until well after others had went home!  It was a lovely day... here are a few pictures

(this one is from the zoo a few weeks ago... but, hey, I hadn't posted it yet!)

Liam Castles

Liam loves building his 'castles' lately...

Bay Beach

More Memorial Day Fun... we went up to Grandma and Grandpa's house to spend the night.  We decided to take Liam to Bay Beach in Green Bay.  Liam had been last year, but this was a first for mommy and daddy with Liam!  He took a bit to warm up, but after a long wait for the train... he was off and wanted to ride everything!  I am SURE we will be back here again this summer!
