Christmas Countdowns

We have been fitting in a lot of different December traditions!
- number countdown
- advent lego calendar (boys are loving!)
- unwrap a christmas book each night (nice snuggles and reading of a holiday book every night :)
- Linkle is again at the house! The boys LOVE him! Evan sings "where is Linkle, where is Linkle" every morning! Both boys love it when he is hiding in a funny spot and especially when he is in their rooms! Liam talks to Linkle regularly :)

It had been a busy season, but we are loving this special time with the boys!

Sickness

I could literally line up bottles of antibiotics for each member of our family right now. Yep, we are having that kind of december! Both boys have been fighting a cough, which they are medicated for. Jon and I have round (insert #... I don't think it is double digits, but close!) of sinus/cold/cough and are now both medicated as well!

So, we have been home with both boys (liam four days last week, evan three days this week). Cuteness is a nice aide effect of yuckies :)

Since we had to cancel our green bay Polar Express, we decided to try out the Middleton Polar Express with the whole family! What fun!

The boys, especially Liam, were at the exact perfect age for this! I will treasure those memories for the rest of my life!!

Decorating

We added a train. The boys were very happy. Between the snowman head and the train... Oh boy did I have to be an adult this year :)

Celebrating Grandpa's birthday!

It was Papa's actual birthday (did we get any pics?!?... I have no idea), which we celebrated the previous weekend at Ama and Papa's house with a lovely meal and dessert(yum!), but we were celebrating Grandpa's birthday a bit early! Grandma and grandpa were babysitting while I worked Friday, but again got to share a meal and more cake (yum again!).
