Change of Seats
We decided to install Liam's big boy carseat today. Hauling him around in the infant seat was becoming painful! Liam is able to sit up pretty well in a shopping cart, so we decided to make the big switch! I of course had to take one last picture of my little boy in his little carseat :)

6 month checkup
Well, really almost 7 month checkup! Here's the stats:
Weight: 19 lbs, 3 ounces (75%) - no longer a huge jump, but that is expected since he is such a mover now!
Height: 28 1/2 inches (95%)
Head: 45 cm (75%)
Liam had three shots and an oral vaccination today. He got his first dose of the flu shot (he will need two) and we delayed his third Hep B. Couldn't bear the thought of four shots in one day!
All in all, everything looks good. We got the go ahead to add in Liam's third meal (will have to work that out at daycare), start stage 2 foods (variety here we come), keep working with our sippy cup, and add in a mixed cereal (wheat!). She is thinking the hives Liam keeps getting is really more of a sensitive skin issue. She gave me the go-ahead to add dairy back into my diet. She is thinking this shouldn't be a problem for Liam since he has reached the six month mark - we will of course watch for the old signs of sensitivity, just in case! I ate pizza tonight in celebration! She thinks his torticollis is still looking wonderful... no more OT for Liam! She agrees the mouth bump has stayed the same... still watch for changes, but no further follow-up right now.
Overall, a very happy, healthy baby! Our ped. is due to have her second baby in November, so we will see one of her associates for his 9 month check-up. Hard to think he may be walking before she sees him again!

Coloring
I don't know if all great artists start with tasting their medium first... but Liam certainly thought that was the way to go!

Drama King
Liam has earned a nickname for himself at daycare - Drama King. From what I was told, when the staff are playing with the other babies in the room, Liam will fake cry until someone comes over to him at which point he'll break out a big smile for whoever he lured into his trap.

Another one!
Was taking a peek inside Liam's mouth before daycare this morning and the other bottom tooth is trying to pop out. It is swollen and you can feel the bump... that would make sense since Liam is waking up quite a bit at night again...
Still trying for a picture... tricky business!

Can it really be all teething?
So teething is not AS bad as I thought it would be... but still some changes. Early morning has now become mommy snuggle time... so long sleep! Naptime at daycare has become more playtime than anything else. Picked him up today and he sleep an hour and a half this morning, waking up around 11:30 and refused to sleep the rest of the day. Currently is napping (although not without quite a fight) and it is 4:20... good luck daddy when he has to put him down tonight! I get the pleasure of a three and a half hour parent information night at the middle school :(
The tooth is visible now, although hard to photgraph! No signs of another one coming in yet... will keep you posted!
