Christmas Celebrations!

We went to my dad's on saturday and saw lots of family.  Liam got some more 'moos' and a very fun tractor... one happy boy :)

My grandparents were up to our house on Sunday.  Liam loved seeing them all.  My grandpa made Liam a semi-truck carrier with a steamroller truck... another big hit!  We all enjoyed our day together (could have done without the packer loss though...)  :)

I will get more pictures from Thanksgiving posted and our new house... but for now enjoy these!

In the midst of moving, we did get a tree last weekend!  Liam enjoyed it and it so happened that the Christmas Tree Farm was next door to a horse ranch... in Liam's opinion that ROCKED!

Both sets of grandparents came down for a visit last Saturday.  Twice the grandparents means twice the spoiling and twice the fun for Liam!

Another Zoo Trip

We took advantage of the nice weather today to take a trip to the zoo.  There were big piles of leaves scattered around the pathways which Liam really enjoyed...

We also swung by the small mammal house (which isn't on our normal zoo circuit).  Liam hardly noticed the animals but LOVED the otter viewing platform.

We were playing outside last weekend.  Liam learned how to drive his wheelbarrow and drive his car on the sidewalk.  All of a sudden he is a crazy driver!

Trucks

Liam also likes to spot things from the car now.  His newest favorite is seeing trucks, specifically semi trucks, although dump trucks are also pretty good.  Tonight he was saying "hi guck", "more guck" and to my astonishment he started counting trucks "un guck"...

Since he knows all of his colors now he also likes to name the color car in front of ours... seriously he just floors me!  :)

Words, words, words

Liam's language has just exploded these last few weeks.  I cannot even keep track of it all!  He is talking in primarily two-words now, with some three-word fun thrown in!  Tonight was the clearest three-word yet... "Daddy go wort"  (Daddy go work).  Pretty amazing stuff going on here!

Also, Liam has started having his own conversations with himself now.  Lots of times he will be playing by himself just talking away.  Coming home tonight he was in the backseat having a long, somewhat heated, conversation with himself.  Excerpts included "Yes, yes, yes, NO, moo-moo, daddy, moo-moo, mommy, no mine, no mine, NO MINE, yes, yes".  He would go back and forth with a sweet, angelic voice and then a loud, yelling voice... so sweet!

Playing Football with Daddy

Packer games have become a fun time for Liam... he usually throws his football, but last sunday he decided it was easier to just carry it around in his mouth!  I am sure that is a penalty under normal circumstances, but we just saw it as an opportunity to take some fun pictures!  Daddy and Liam get to tackle, recover fumbles and just plain have fun!
