We met Uncle, Grandma, and Grandpa in Madison today to check out the farmers market at Capital Square. Everyone had a good time and we wore Liam out. This is him sleeping all the way home.

Sussex Lions Days

Just finished up a fun weekend. Big parade on Saturday. Candy = Fun, color guard firing blanks = tears. Went to the carnival in the park on Sunday. It was hot but Liam had a good time. Pony rides, petting zoo, train rides, carousal, and ... Get this ... A roller coaster!

Sussex lions daze

We had fun for a few HOT hours this afternoon... Liam liked driving the train best!

Why?

Lots of "Why Daddy?" this morning...

First time we had heard why!

Big boy chair

Liam and I have been shopping for big boy bed stuff this week. This was at the top of his list and when mommy said no, well there was an epic meltdown.

Mark it down on your calendars... first time I had to abandon my cart, pick my screaming child forcibly up and leave a store. We did not get the chair to the utter dismay of Liam.

Took a couple of minutes, but Liam calmed down and stated "I better now momma"

We took the bikes to armory park this morning. Liam loved the sea horse rocker (but not the dolphin!) and the sandbox.

We rented a digger video from the library. Someone is quite excited!
