Ama and Papa!

Ama and Papa came to spend the night last weekend. Liam had A LOT of fun! We started clearing out the baby's room and got some projects crossed of our (really jon's) list ;)

Liam was very snuggly with ama and papa reading books and snuggling with his blankie in his rei chair!

Madison!

We met up with Uncle and Sam at Madison Children's Museum this weekend. Liam had a blast! He loved the big train best :). Below are a few snapshots!

Big Brother Update

We had our 24 week checkup tonight! Everything is just fine! Baby's heartbeat was 150, measuring right on target for size :). I feel gigantic and just full of baby, which the ob attributes to Liam :). Liam brought his doctor kit and gave everyone, including his baby brother checkups and shots... Ouch!

For those that are wondering, no we haven't decided on names yet, but Liam's frontrunners are 'baby' and 'annie' ;)

Potty Update :)

6 days straight with dry underwear!!! Tomorrow is the seventh day in a row and then Liam gets to pick his own toy surprise from Toysrus... Oh boy!

Funny Stuff!

This morning Liam was saying good morning to everyone, including his baby brother :), when the following question was asked: "How my baby brother get out of you mommy?"

Oh boy, gulp.

I asked "How do you think Liam?"

"Is there a door the opens?"

Ahh, yes! What a perfect answer! I did eventually tell him the more anatomical answer, but not before I had Liam go ask Daddy "my baby brother cone out of mommy's door?" :)

Three dry days in a row!

Life is good... Having a no-pants morning while watching our new favorite movie (Cars) and eating home made cinnamon rolls.

Another Dry Day :)

Second dry day today!!! Liam even used the potty at the library today:)

We celebrated by watching Liam's first movie... Cars! He loved it! So proud of you Liam!

Liam also had his first poop on the big boy potty tonight AND kept his underwear dry all day today!!!

Potty training update...

Potty training at school has hit some bumps...

Monday Liam had a pee pee on the big potty, but it got all over his pants because he was sitting forward on the seat.

Liam has now decided he is only going potty on his green potty at home... All accidents, no successes since at school. He is learning quite quickly how to control his pee pee at home, just a couple accidents a day at home, but we are struggling with school :(.

We continue on... New bribery: a new train book that Liam gets only when he makes pee pee or poops on a big potty. Will keep everyone posted on our new bribery!

Ultrasound Pics!

We had our 20 week ultrasound just before Christmas... Here are some still shots! The first one is a side profile of the face, the second is looking straight at the face and the third is the 'boy parts'! Everything looked just fine, measuring right on schedule and weighing about a pound... We are all so excited to become a family of four :)

Potty Training Continues...

We are now a week into potty training!  Liam is getting the hang of it, but it is definitely still a work in progress :)

We had two big pee pees in the potty today and only two accidents... so that is pretty good!  Liam stayed dry all afternoon once he got up from his nap for the first time tonight!

Tomorrow he is back to school, so we will see how that goes!

Potty Training

Potty training continues. Day 2 was tough with double digit accidents and no successes. The next couple of days Liam spent at Ama & Papa's house. He did much better there with the potty.

By now we were to Thursday and had to take a break for a couple days and use pull ups. Great Grandpa West passed away over the holidays and we traveled to Sparta for the funeral. Liam enjoyed meeting that side of the family and playing with his cousins.

We got back home Saturday afternoon and back to underwear. Some accidents and some successes. Tomorrow Liam goes back to school so that should be interesting.

What better way to watch the Rose Bowl Parade?
