Catching Up... Cabin Vacation!

The whole family made the trek up to pound wi to spend a few days relaxing.  We had three cabins right in a row.  We had a wonderful time.  Liam stayed over in Ama and Papa's cabin for two nights and one night in Grandma and Grandpa's cabin.  Liam also learned how to give cow kisses... thanks sam :)

We got up to the cabins just after lunchtime on Monday, went the the Lumberjack Steam Train on Tuesday, went for a hike on wednesday, and packed up to leave on thursday!

Evan was a trooper... he loves seeing new things, so he was pretty entertained!  We had a great, although cold, time!

First Swing

Big day of firsts for Liam today. After dinner we were playing outside and he randomly ran over to the swing and asked me to push him. He now loves biking and swinging!

Learning to Ride Bike

I setup Liam's bike this morning and we started riding.  No fear on Liam's part - he jumped right on and started pedaling.  After a little practice - he really started getting the hang of pedaling forward to go and backwards to stop.  He had a lot of fun and can't wait to go again!

Liam got a hold of my camera...

Our new fridge!

And yes, I need to go to the store!

Papa brought a horse!

Flabbergast!

We headed to flabbergast this morning. Liam had a lot of fun! We headed quickly to the library for some new books and then home to meet Papa! Our new fridge was delivered this afternoon... Pics to come!

Dessert!

Wednesday was national night out, so after soccer we headed over to the library and had an ice cream! Liam got to climb on a tractor and see the fire truck put the ladder up high!

Last Soccer Class

Our art project

We saved one of our seeds from outside and fed it to a little mouse (film canister) and then made a paper towel snake to eat the mouse! Liam said he had a nice snake, so his snake just kept his mouse nice and warm ;)

What do animals eat?

Yep, that's a toad. And, yes, he is eating a worm! We were back at Hevenwoods State Forest this week fir a class on what animals eat. We had a lot of fun with Liam's friends Cael and Cole. We talked about what different animals eat, sang a song, learned some sign language, went outside and uses our mouse puppets to find seeds, and the made a great art project! Fun! Ama was at our house when we got back and Liam got spoiled with stories!
