Ama and Papa's House

We headed down to Ama and Papa's house on Monday to visit and get Bentley.  Ama and Papa spoiled the kids with playing and spoiled us with lunch!

Fun at Grandma and Grandpa's House!

We had a long weekend over Memorial Day weekend since Liam had Friday off of school!  We headed up to Grandma and Grandpa's house to spend a few days!  We ended up at Bay Beach Amusement Park for two days in a row :)  Liam has become adventurous and LOVED the fast rides: scrambler, tilt a whirl, bumper cars, giant slides, carousels, bugs, racing cars... so much fun!  We also visited the train museum, which the boys always find such a hit!  Thanks for the amazing weekend!

When we got home... it only took 5 minutes for Daddy's nap time!

Seal Class!

Liam had a six year old class on the Amazon where he learned about the forest and the river!  He was excited to share that the river floods for four months in the rainy season and that many animals have adapted to live in this environment!  

Evan learned all about seals and sea lions.  He went around using his back flippers pretending to be a seal and his front flippers pretending to be a sea lion!  I love going to zoo class and having that time to spend learning together!

This is what happens when you leave our kids alone outside for a while...

Our dear, sweet Buckley

We had to say goodbye to our dear, sweet Buckley.  He had plenty of snuggles from everyone and he is greatly missed each and every day.

The boys had the opportunity to say goodbye and our final days were spent with snuggles, kisses, pets and love.

We often talk about how much we loved using Buckley as our soft pillow, how we had to always protect our food, how Buckley was the master of Bentley, how Buckley always, always wanted to escape outside and did on several occasions and we find ourselves still marveling at how lucky we were to have had him in our lives.  He was a wonderful pet to all of us and is greatly missed.  

Milwaukee Public Museum

We had wanted to get to the dinosaur exhibit at the Milwaukee Public Museum and finally made it the last weekend!  The boys liked seeing the dinos and they had some really fun and interactive exhibits!  We also explored the butterfly exhibit and Old World Milwaukee!
