Two sick boys... two sick parents

Survival.  That is the goal for the next few days.  Evan is doing a little better, but still is not able to lie flat (just fills right up with gunk).  Liam was up from 11 - 2:30 last night.  I think he has a sore throat/drainage... I finally gave up and brought him in bed with me (jon was on the couch with Evan) and once he settled in (~2:30) I could sleep for a few hours.  Both Jon and I are fighting a cold and headaches (I am sure due to the lack of sleep!)

I have a 1/2 day today, which is great and friday I have off... I am hoping we can hang low this weekend, rest and get better!

I am taking a page from one of Liam's favorite books today... "I think I can... I think I can..."

Home with a sick boy :(

Evan came down with a yucky stuffy nose last night. Jon and I took turns sleeping with him upright so he could breathe better. I tried to take him to daycare this morning, but he screamed and screamed, so I dropped Liam off and went back to check in on Evan. He wasn't calming down and wasn't likely to sleep as he would be lying flat... So my second day of work I called in sick. Evan has had a hard day... Screaming and crying when awake... Having a hard time nursing because he can't breathe... Hope he feels better soon!

First Day Back

Liam had a wonderful day. There wasn't a tear shed... He went right to playing! Yeah!!!!

Evan had a good day too! Two naps (I actually had to wake him at 3:15 to go to Liam's doctor!). Evan did have some struggles though... He wouldn't drink much from the bottle :/. Hopefully he settles in tomorrow!

Evan has had a great last couple of nights sleeping in his crib. Been going down with only 10-15 minutes of crying and sleeping until 1ish and then between 5-6. This is so much better than what it gad been and there are no more contraptions in the crib!!!

Evan is doing better with naps too... Took a two hour nap in his crib yesterday!!! WooHoo!!

Playing and Lunch!

We met Cael at Miller Park yesterday to play and then had lunch there! Fun!
