We have a chain countdown to Christmas, an christmas tree countdown and a new/old book to open every night until Christmas! Liam is just loving all this hoopla!

Evan seems to be entering into a new phase these last few days - into everything he can get his hands onto. Sitting still is not an option!

Sick update

We took the boys to the doctor this morning... Those colds just keep lingering...

Both boys have clear ears and no signs of anything but a cold!!!!

Evan weighed in at 20 lbs, 5.5 ounces and Liam weighed in at 38 lbs!

Trainfest

Liam woke up feeling good after a great night of sleep... So we were off to trainfest! Liam had a great time and Evan enjoyed all the trains too!!

Feeling Better

Thankfully Liam felt better a few hours later and had been doing fine since.

The fun never ends...

This week has been challenging with a sickish, non-sleeping evan and all I kept telling myself was that I was so grateful the Liam didn't get sick.... Well Liam woke up from nap not feeling right... And then right after he ate a vitamin at dinner... He threw up several times. Poor baby didn't know what throwing up was and now he is vegging with his puke bucket... I am now hoping, hoping, hoping that no one else needs a bucket...

For the moment I have all the blog posts caught up... and now I am going to bed!

What's New with Evan...

Couple of new things going on with our little Evan...

• SLIMERS!!!!  Boy oh boy does Evan like giving slimers.  Liam loves getting slimers from Evan.  It is beyond adorable and warms your heart... except when he gives bitey slimers... not good.
• Getting his toes in his mouth and sucking on them!
• Getting his socks off ALL the time!
• Sleeping in his carseat for the moment... he likes the coziness, sleeps so much better and doesn't get congested.  We will be transitioning back to the crib (Ugh... those are going to be some long screaming nights) soon... 
• A whole bunch of new sounds: ba ba, ma ma, mmm, mmm-bah and many new combos that we haven't heard before!  He looks so serious talking with you... 
• Starting to get up all by himself when he falls over sideways sitting

He is feeling better.  He has two and a half days of meds left and I am hoping, hoping, hoping that his ears are clear and his congestion is gone in that time.  He had a rough day on monday home with me sleeping, making me think his ears were still bothering him?  Had an ok day at daycare today... ate well... napped not so well (2 35 minute naps the whole day).  He is still congested when he lies flat and still has boogies when he sneezes, which he is still doing quite often.  I just don't know... I guess time will tell.  

Both Jon and I got better from our colds... only to have them come back.  Jon's not so bad and is already fading back away... mine reared up quite heavily and I am now on antibiotics as well.  I am feeling much better already with just 36 hours of antibiotics in me.

Mary and Clancy came down last Thursday evening to watch the boys on the first of the many Friday rotations!  Everything went quite smoothly and the boys had a great time!  Liam and Grandpa got into some 'trouble' at the library and Panera... Grandma and Evan got some snuggles, playing and naps!

Jon and I cannot tell you how much we appreciate you both being here to help raise our boys!  The breakfast date and shopping Saturday wasn't too bad either ;)

Liam misses Grandma and Grandpa (just kissing their picture tonight!), but he is excited that Ama and Papa are coming this Friday!

Madison Children's Museum

Two weekends ago we met Andrew, Mary and Clancy at the Madison Children's Museum.  Liam had a blast as always.  Much more adventurous this time around, which is very nice to see.  Had a wonderful time despite the rain!
