Family Christmas!
We had everyone over here for Christmas on friday. Mary, Clancy and Andrew stayed over and let Jon and I have a night out to attend a wedding on saturday. Mom and Dave came down for the day with Abbey and we had more food than we knew what to do with, A LOT of presents and many precious memories! Evan got a new chair just like 'um', some new car toys and a herd of turtles and Liam got Thomas, legos and his playmobil camper! Good fun :)
Both of the boys passed out the presents to start the commotion, which was adorable!
Christmas
We had such a wonderful Christmas this year! The boys were just amazed by all of it and they LOVED opening gifts :) Santa brought Liam a bus with working lights, doors and and stop sign and another pull back bus! Evan got the same pull back bus and a turtle from Santa! Other big hit gifts were the pop up train, legos, games and cars!

Disappointment
I realized tonight that Liam deals with better than I do. We surprised Liam with a trip to see the Canadian Railway Holiday Train pull into a station tonight. Imagine how fun - a train decorated in christmas lights! We got a babysitter for Evan, layered Liam in lots of clothes, made it through several traffic jams and got to Hartford at 8:30pm... Only to find out the train was running an hour and a half late! Ugh. And then Liam says "I have to go potty", which sealed the deal. Back home. No train.
Apparently the train pulled in at 9:40 pm. Since it is a school night, we made the right call, but I am sad and disappointed :(
Liam handled it well. He said it was the saddest part of the day, but then sang "santa claus is coming to town" and told me all the happy parts of his day. Now if I could only get over my disappointment!
