We stopped by a large state park - Warren Dunes State Park - one a stormy day. Most of our days in Michigan were a bit stormy at one point or another. We ended up sprinting with the boys back to the car, covered in sand and a bit damp from a downpour, but the boys loved the sand and the dunes were beautiful!
