We drove the four hour drive from Dallas to Houston on our second day. We got into town and decided to head downtown to a great aquarium and park area with rides. Also, there was a train that went through a shark tunnel... yeah, that had something to do with the visit!
Liam was so brave - he touched several stingrays. Evan just wanted to watch :)
The train ride was very fun and they had some cool sharks inside the tunnel! Cap the night off with a carousel ride, some running around and the boys being 'amazed' by our eight floor hotel with windows in the elevator and an open lobby. They thought it was the tallest building ever!
Our hotel room, although dated, worked very well with a room full of beds and a roll-away crib and a living space to run around in. Also, Jon and I didn't have to go to bed with the kids, which was nice! The boys did well sleeping (although always up so early!) and Evan rocked out day 2 without a nap! Bring on day 3 in Houston!
